The Excalibur acts as a historic document that outlines the events and students which together become Evangel University. While the Excalibur may be considered a document to some, to the students that carefully craft it together each year, it is much more than that. It is proof of the sweat, tears, and blood that were spent in hopes of capturing the school year on paper.

The Evangel university yearbook is advised by the passionate Nancy Pace-Miller who lovingly motivates and inspires the staff to form a masterpiece to remember the school year. Most who work on the Excalibur staff are communication students who hope to one day work in a similar environment. Any interviewer should be impressed by a potential employee who will show them the award-winning Excalibur yearbook.
