SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise)

SIFE offers university students the opportunity to apply what they are learning in the classroom to solve real world problems. Through the process of teaching and serving others, they catch a glimpse of the true scope of their personal potential and are forever changed. As they go about the process of organizing their team, developing education projects and competing in a global competition, they develop teamwork, leadership, and communication skills far beyond those of the average university student.
Over Christmas break SIFE with the business department sent ten people on a trip to South Africa. The team got back from the South African trip on Jan 11. Currently, SIFE is working on preparing for competition. The first week of March SIFE will be hosting the SBLA competition for over 1,000 students. On March 17, SIFE is having an alternate chapel opportunity with guest speaker missionaries.
