About
Jonathan May is a freshman going for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film with a Theatre minor built in. He lives on S3N where there's never a dull moment. He spends most of his time in his room doing homework or hanging out with friends. The guys on his floor are like brothers to him, and he says they're all really close.
Theatre, film, and digital arts are his passions and hobbies. He got into theatre in 8th grad and since then he has been in 15 plays, and has directed 6. He spends a large amount of his free time playing around with different software on his computer. He fell in love with in his senior year while helping some of his friends with video projects.
The Lance
Jonathan is the Managing Online Editor of the Lance where the core part of his job involves uploading the print content to the web each week. He does the layout you see on the Lance website. He is in the process of completely redesigned the Lance website this semester through the Wordpress their Content Management Site. The new site will be a lot more user friendly, and include more social networking integration allowing students to share their thoughts and opinions on all the article published. He is also thinking about developing a mobile app that will allow students, faculty, and alumni to download the Lance to their mobile devices.
Hobbies
As a film major he is constantly watching TV or movies for his education and entertainment. He enjoys photography, reading, reading technology news, cooking at his sister's house as our dorms don't have a kitchen, listening to music, sleeping whenever possible, and next semester being the Producer for EU films.
